High Performance Refining For A Superior Quality Soap
The soap refining plodder receives soap, which has been fully mixed and amalgamated with colour, perfume and other additives directly from the bottom discharge door of the mixer, into the in-feed hopper of the plodder.
Positioned as the second machine in the soap finishing line, the soap refiner plodder plays a crucial role in improving the texture, consistency, and overall quality of the final soap bar.
The Refining Process
The operational stages through which the soap refiner plodder compresses, filters, and extrudes soap mass into uniform noodles.

The material from the mixer is directly discharged into the in-feed of the refiner where the rotating screw compresses and homogenizes the soap mass.

The material then passes through filter screens to remove impurities and hard particles.

The refined soap is then extruded through a stainless steel noodling plate, producing uniform refined noodles.

These refined noodles are then passed to the Triple Roll Mill for further refining and texture improvement.

Machine Overview
The Brit Soap Refiner Plodder is a heavy-duty soap refining machine designed for continuous industrial production. All soap-contact components are manufactured from AISI 304 stainless steel to ensure corrosion resistance, hygiene, and long service life.
The barrels are built in AISI 304 stainless steel, with cooling jackets to regulate operating temperatures during continuous production, while the structural frame is fabricated from industrial-grade mild steel for strength and operational stability.
The refining screws are cast in Aluminium Silicon (LM6) alloy, polished and machined to maintain tight tolerances between the screw and barrel, enabling efficient compression and refining of the soap mass. An optimized length-to-diameter ratio of 4.5 further enhances material flow and extrusion performance.
